Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) is considered a curative option for children with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Post-HSCT relapse in pediatric AML is associated with poor outcomes. Our ability to predict this event is limited. Chimerism analysis can be followed sequentially to detect Mixed Chimerism (MC) trends to identify the risk of relapse.

Analysis of Ageism in Radiotherapy Oncology Group

We tried to investigate any discriminatory attitudes towards elderly people through the administration of questionnaires to all healthcare workers in 10 radiotherapy oncology departments in the regions of Puglia and Basilicata. Some ageist attitudes have emerged; not as discriminatory acts but as the result of archaic, unconscious and stereotyped conceptions. The age problem is mainly due to false information that causes misconceptions about the elderly.
